Bangladesh Cash Working Group

The Bangladesh Cash Working Group (CWG) seeks to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of CVAs across sectors and clusters in disaster preparedness and response. Since its launch in March 2014, it has successfully coordinated the emergency CVAs by harmonising grant size and location and introduced the structural market price monitoring practice in union level. With growing interests in quality CVAs, currently more than 30 member organizations including private sector and government collaborate to set the course for the future of CVAs that save lives and empower the people.
