Regional cash and voucher transfers working group

The Regional Cash and Voucher Transfers (RCVT) working group, hosted by the Inter Agency Working Group (IAWG), will be established as a platform of technical professionals and experts dedicated to cash and voucher transfer programming in the East and Central Africa region (covering 13 countries; Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda and Central Africa Republic). 

The Overall Objective of the group is to streamline the design, development and implementation of cash and voucher based responses in the region. The group will strive to improve programs and their ability to benefit vulnerable groups.

Regional Cash & Voucher Transfer Working Group

The Regional Cash & Voucher Transfer Working Group was launched at 10am on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012 at the IFRC meeting room on Woodlands Road in Nairobi. The overall objective of the group is to streamline the design, development and implemantation of cash and voucher based responses in the region. Coverage will include 13 countries in East and Central Africa.


Somalia Cash and Voucher Monitoring Group

The Somalia Cash and Voucher Monitoring group has made available an M&E plan and a series of tools for monitoring cash and voucher programmes, including price monitoring and household monitoring questionnaires.
